TALLINN | 2025

In July 2025, DIE FIXEN NIXEN traveled to Tallinn for the Song and Dance Festival. The major event “Laulupidu” takes place every five years and is a significant cultural event for Estonia, bringing together thousands of singers and dancers from across the country and the Estonian diaspora. Being part of this special event ‒ even with the rain ‒ was a truly impressive experience!

BAMBERG | 2024

This choir tour took DIE FIXEN NIXEN to “Franconian Rome,” following in the footsteps of a former singer. The choir rehearsed between the Regnitz and Main rivers in the morning, and performed their music in the afternoon, amidst impressive buildings from the 11th to 19th centuries and above the rooftops of Bamberg.

Georgien | 2014

“Georgia will never let us go!” – Supported by the Goethe Institute, DIE FIXEN NIXEN embarked on their first trip abroad to Georgia in 2014. Experiencing Georgian music at its origins and working on and performing German and Georgian songs together with the Georgian women’s choir “Turtachela” was a moving experience that continues to shape the choir to this day.
